Cheyenne, Wyoming – Another New State

Pat and I begin our 6-week tour of Wyoming in the capital city of Cheyenne, Wyoming! This is another new state for us and is number 28 for us to have spent at least one night in the RV since we started just over two years ago. We spent a week in this historic city and had a great time absorbing all that we could before moving on. Our commute from Fort Collins, Co to Cheyenne was a nice short 45 minute drive with no complications!

Denver, Colorado – Part 2

And here it is, late June! What in the world happened to the month? I often wonder at how swiftly time goes by. It seems to go by faster when we are busy and in an area with much to see and do. The Denver Colorado area certainly qualifies as having much to do, so here we are wrapping up our second and final week in the area. We have packed a multitude of activities into our time here plus have taken a few required down days to rest up a bit. Here is a recap of our week:

Alamogordo/White Sands, New Mexico: Part 2

Let me start out with the fact that Alamogordo/White Sands, New Mexico is a small town of 30,000 people located in the Tularosa Basin of the Chihuahuan Desert. Some people have asked, why are we staying 12 days in such a small town. Well, we love exploring small towns and living like the locals. Plus we get to see if this could be a place to settle down one of these days.
